Jeff Grisamore

Jeff Grisamore is a University of Iowa graduate and the President & CEO of EGR International and BlackLab Media, two New York-based firms that specialize in brand engagement, experiential marketing, and strategic communications. Over the course of his career, Grisamore has built a reputation as a visionary leader whose work bridges creativity, strategy, and technology to help global brands forge deeper, more meaningful connections with their audiences.

Through EGR International, he has partnered with many of the world’s most recognized companies, leading initiatives that span live events, digital experiences, content creation, and brand transformation. BlackLab Media extends that vision into film, storytelling, and visual production—where creative craft and strategic insight meet to bring brands to life across screens and platforms.

A passionate advocate for the intersection of business, creativity, and education, Grisamore remains closely connected to the University of Iowa and its School of Journalism and Mass Communication where he is a Professor of Practice and Strategic Communications Track Coordinator. He engages with students and faculty to share industry perspectives and foster opportunities that prepare the next generation of communicators to lead in an evolving media landscape.
